Stress is starting to give me skin conditions. What can I do about the dry patches.?

stress is causing my psoriasis to act up in my scalp. For the first time its starting to spread to my face. I have a dry skin patch on my cheek. I keep putting lotion (oil of olay) but nothing happens, it stays dry. I dont want to use any prescription steroid creams. What can I do to get the scaling to go away?

When my skin acts up, I use baby or children shampoo for my scalp. Also use the mildest soaps. Make sure any detergent you use for clothes is fragrant, chemical free. There are non steroid creams available, although for me they didn’t help much at all, but everyone is different.

The only thing I found that helped out is this cream I get online. I haven’t had breakouts since, just irritations now and again but they go away real fast. Best of luck and get better soon.

Morning Sugarfree_Eyes! I don’t know whether this answer will help you or not but I used to have dry skin on my face as well and sometimes the dryness turned into flaky skin. I used this cream called Hydrocortisone. It worked wonders. Maybe you don’t want to use any creams but this one’s worth a shot. :>

There is a cream that a dermatologist has my husband using called Blue Lizard. It helps a lot. You dampen your skin first and then put it on. A little goes a long way. There are shampoos out for psoriasis too just in case you didnt know.

If you think that your skin condition is caused by stress you
might want to try to relieve the stress. This way you’ll cure the problem, not the symptoms. You can try this http://www.hypnosisdownloads.com/cat/stress_management.html?1596!y-stress
I’t helped me alot ,when I was stressed out.
As for the psoriasis , my sister has it. She tried various creams, but did not find anything helpful. I Know that this is very hard to deal with.

I’ve tried a lot of very expensive moisturizers and I’m allergic to a lot of things. This moisturizer is inexpensive, soaks right in, does the job, and I don’t react to it. All for a fraction of what I was paying at the department stores!

eb5 is a great product. It goes on smooth and you only need to use a little so it lasts a long while. I recommend this to all women looking for an anti-aging cream!
