How to Easily and Quickly Clean Your Exfoliating Gloves

Do you like to use exfoliating washcloth for face or exfoliating gloves while exfoliating your face and body? You may use these gloves to help you get rid of the buildup of dead skin cells on your body while improving the condition of your skin. If you’re using these gloves on a regular basis, it’s important to clean them properly. It doesn’t take much time or effort to properly wash the gloves and keep them clean so that you can use them whenever you want to without worry.

Soak Them in Warm Water

After you’ve used the exfoliating gloves on your body, there’s a good chance you’ll see a few pieces of dead skin on the gloves. The best way to remove all that dead skin is to place the gloves inside of a plastic container or even inside of your sink and soak them in warm water for at least 10 minutes.

Scrub Them With Detergent

After you’ve allowed the gloves to soak in the warm water for several minutes, grab a mild detergent or hand soap of your choice. Remove the gloves from the water, pour a drop or two of detergent or soap on each glove, and then rub them carefully together until you’ve got a bit of a lather. Continue scrubbing the gloves clean for at least another minute or two and then rinse them off directly underneath the faucet with cold water.

Dry Them Out For Several Hours

Don’t leave the gloves sitting down on a surface while soaking wet. Instead, place them on a clothesline with a clothespin. If you don’t have a clothesline or clothespin, you can always hang them over your shower rod so that they’ll have time to drip dry. Leave the gloves to dry for several hours before putting them away because if you put them away while they’re wet, they may have a stagnant smell.

If you’re going to use exfoliating gloves to exfoliate your skin, it’s important for you to make sure that you’re cleaning them properly. Instead of just leaving them out to dry with a bunch of dead skin all over them, take the time to soak them in some warm water, scrub them with detergent or hand soap, and then dry them out by hanging them up inside or even outside. By taking these simple yet effective steps, you’ll be able to keep your exfoliating gloves in the best condition possible.
